textcompare.ai is a privacy-focused text comparison tool that processes your text locally in your browser. Our service allows you to:

  • Compare two text documents and highlight differences
  • Export comparison results in various formats
  • Share comparison results via generated links (when explicitly chosen)
  • Use the service entirely offline after initial load

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Upload or share malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
  • Use the Service to compare or share copyrighted content without permission

Your Content and Privacy

Local Processing

By default, all text processing occurs locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or have access to your text content unless you explicitly create a share link.

Shared Content

When you create a share link, you grant us permission to store your comparison results on our servers solely for the purpose of enabling the sharing functionality. You retain all rights to your content, and we will not use it for any other purpose.

Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you input into our Service and any content you choose to share.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of textcompare.ai and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain all rights to your own content that you input into the Service. You do not gain any rights to our proprietary algorithms, source code, or intellectual property by using the Service.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:

Limitation of Liability

Termination
